Information on disposal, return and data protection
Please observe these important instructions in the interests of environmentally friendly disposal of old devices and your own safety.
1) Scope of Application
This take-back concept governs the return and disposal of electrical and electronic waste devices of Weatherdock AG in accordance with the requirements of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG 2025). It distinguishes between devices for commercial use (B2B) and those for private households (B2C).

Returns are at the sender’s expense.
The return packaging must be labeled “Old Device – Return in accordance with the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act.”
Disposal will be carried out by a certified specialist at Weatherdock’s expense.

4) Consumer Information (B2C)
Please observe the following important notes to ensure environmentally sound disposal of waste devices and for your own safety. These instructions are aimed at private households using electrical and/or electronic equipment:
- Waste devices must not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste and do not belong in household trash. They must be collected separately and disposed of through local collection and return systems.
- Used batteries and accumulators not enclosed within the device must be removed before disposal at a collection point.
- The symbol in Annex 3 of the ElektroG (a crossed-out wheeled bin) indicates that devices must be disposed of separately from household waste.
- Return of waste devices is also possible through public waste management authorities or their collection points.

5) Data Protection Notice
Waste devices may contain sensitive personal data (e.g., on PCs or smartphones). End users are solely responsible for deleting personal data from the devices prior to disposal.
6) Disposal
Disposal is carried out exclusively by certified specialist companies in accordance with § 20 ElektroG and is documented through registration in the EAR portal.
7) Labeling Requirements
- All devices are permanently marked with legally required symbols.
- Additional information is provided on packaging, user manuals, and the website.
8) Customer Information
- Information on returns is available at www.easyais.com.
- Additional notes may be provided on packaging, in user manuals, or upon request.
- For B2C customers, the additional instructions under § 18 ElektroG apply.
9) EAR Foundation & Volume Reporting
- Weatherdock is registered with the EAR Foundation (WEEE Reg. No.: DE 41361561).
- Annual volume reports are submitted on time.
10) Digital Return Solutions
- Weatherdock is evaluating the use of digital return portals to simplify the return process.
- Internal documentation is maintained digitally for verification purposes.
11) Legal Targets
- Weatherdock aligns with the targets of the BMUV regarding collection and recycling rates.

12) Review and Updates
- This concept is reviewed annually for completeness.
- Adjustments are made in case of legal changes or new sales channels (e.g., B2C shop).
