Weatherdock AG is a leading manufacturer of electronic products, receivers and safety solutions for the shipping industry. Weatherdock AG has its headquarters in Nuremberg and is ‘the’ manufacturer of electronic safety and navigation devices. These are primarily used in commercial shipping and by authorities, but also in leisure shipping. The company was founded in 2003 by the three board members as a privately owned public limited company. All products are developed in Nuremberg, while production takes place at other locations, but exclusively in Germany. Weatherdock is managed by the three board members Alfred Kotouczek-Zeise, Jürgen Zimmermann and Wolfgang Werner.
Weatherdock uses state-of-the-art methods, software and tools. These are implemented using modern management procedures that the founders and board members have applied themselves in a large international group over the past 15 years and are now successfully continuing to do so.
